AlUrjoon is a Saudi game studio named after the date-palm stalk that bends like a crescent moon as it dries. We drew the name by hand in a custom Arabic lettering that carries that curve, and built the studio’s identity around it in gold on deep, earthy dark tones.

Kuthban Saga, the first game developed under AlUrjoon, is an action role-playing game set in pre-Islamic Arabia. Its name had to read as Arabic first and still hold its own beside the big international releases on a store page.

We sketched the title lettering in ink before giving it a sand-carved finish, then designed the full investor deck in the same visual language, presenting the story, its four main characters and the desert world they move through.

The lettering

Both names began on paper: the studio’s in pencil on tracing paper, the game’s in ink. Each was then drawn as a clean vector and tried out in use.

The investor deck

A 36-page deck that tells the game’s story, introduces its characters and lays out the studio’s plan.
